Venezuela: Crisis and Community Solutions

Pre- Carousel Brainstorm: I printed copies of the following infographics and hung them around the room. I had pairs write one reaction/summary per infographic.

States of Undress: We watched the majority of this show in class (I cut out the parts that were overly sexual and some of the plastic surgery info). It is a very humanizing examination of Venezuela's current crisis. It also deals with the AP themes of beauty and aesthetics. While watching I had my students take notes on important facts on the current crisis.  After viewing, my students each wrote a response to the following: Escribe un resumen de lo que aprendiste de las infografías y del episodio. También, incluye una reacción a lo que aprendiste.
